Tea & Cake, What a jolly good idea ol' boy!

We took Margaux's family to one of the most extraordinary tea rooms in England yesterday, this lovely little place is called The Tea Cosy (George Street, Brighton). We walked past it earlier and could not resist another tea and scone with cream and strawberry jam. C'est tres Anglais? Oui, c'est vrai! In the two years we have lived in Brighton, it was our first visit to this Royal wonderland and thought it would be the most perfect spot not only to have a cuppa, but to picture this week's chosen outfit. We have felt like tourists for the past few days and to keep with the whole Royal theme we went inside the Pavillion. It was built in 1787 for the Prince Regent who later became King George IV as a seaside retreat, it's not a bad place to go for weekends away! The banqueting room is awe-inspiring, the chinoiserie design is simply incredible and we would definitely recommend a visit! We also had fish, chips and mushy peas on the pier, another must...

Here Margaux is wearing :

★ Vintage Derby Hat was a charity shop find

★ Vintage 50s / 60s Cream floral lace top with mandarin collar and three quarter length sleeves

★ Vintage handmade velvet full circle skirt

★ Brogues from a small shoemakers in Brittany, France

We hope you all have a fun weekend and don't get up to toooo much mischief!!!

Toodle pip,

Alec & Margaux
